Assignment Details

• Start Date: July 6, 2026
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift Options:
  • 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (alternating)
• On-Call:
  • 1 night/week
  • 1 weekend/month (rotating)
  • Possible holiday coverage

About the Unit

• 5 Interventional Radiology Suites
• Staffing Model: 2 IR Techs + 1 IR RN
• Equipment:
  • 4 Siemens Bi-plane systems
  • 1 Siemens Single-plane system
• EMR Systems: Meditech, GE Centricity PACS

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in complex IR procedures in a fast-paced lab
• Operate advanced imaging equipment with precision
• Support physicians during vascular and neuro interventions
• Ensure patient safety, positioning, and monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

Procedures You’ll See

• Neuro IR (Comprehensive Stroke Center):
  • Stroke interventions
  • Aneurysms
  • Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH)
  • DVST
• Trauma & Vascular IR (Level 1 Trauma):
  • GI bleeds (GIB)
  • Embolizations
  • G-tubes & nephrostomy placements

✅ Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience (recent acute care IR required)
• At least 6 months current IR Tech hospital experience
• ARRT (R) Certification
• BLS (AHA)
• Strong ability to work independently in high-acuity cases

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro Interventional experience (strokes, aneurysms, SAH)
• Advanced knowledge of vascular IR procedures
• Previous travel experience
