We’re Always Interested in Meeting the Right People Eva's Dog Camp is not actively hiring at this time, but we are always interested in connecting with people who may be a great fit for our team in the future. Our facility is a 66-acre property where dogs spend their days hiking and playing in off-leash groups. Our staff are outdoors with the dogs for approximately 6–8 hours each day, actively supervising and managing groups of dogs as they move through the property. If you have experience working with groups or packs of dogs, we encourage you to submit your resume for consideration as future opportunities become available. Experience in a kennel, boarding, daycare, veterinary, or other animal-care setting is especially valuable. We also welcome applicants with related professional experience, including: Veterinary offices or animal-care facilities Kennels, dog daycare, boarding, or training environments Ranch or farm work Professional outdoor work Landscaping, trail work, or other physically demanding outdoor positions Other positions involving the care, handling, supervision, or management of animals What the Work Requires Working at Eva's Dog Camp is active, physical, and mentally engaging. This is not a position where staff simply remain in one location supervising dogs. Our team spends much of the day walking, hiking, standing, and moving across a large property while actively managing off-leash groups of dogs. Applicants should be comfortable with: Walking and hiking for 6–8 hours per day Being on their feet and physically active throughout the workday Navigating uneven, muddy, wet, steep, or otherwise challenging outdoor terrain Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Maintaining awareness of multiple dogs and their behavior at the same time Safely managing groups of dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and play styles Remaining calm and making sound decisions when situations between dogs change quickly Staying attentive and engaged for extended periods rather than becoming distracted or complacent Working independently while also communicating effectively with the rest of the team The mental demands of the position are just as important as the physical ones. Successful dog camp staff must be observant, patient, confident, adaptable, and comfortable making quick decisions in a dynamic environment. Reading canine body language and recognizing changes in group dynamics are important parts of keeping both dogs and staff safe. Who Should Submit a Resume? You do not need to have worked at a dog camp specifically to be considered. We are interested in people who have developed strong animal-handling skills, outdoor work habits, physical stamina, situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm and responsible in demanding environments. If your background includes working with packs of dogs, kennels, veterinary offices, farms, ranches, or other professional outdoor settings, we encourage you to submit your resume even though we are not currently hiring.
