Lead Generation Specialist - Proficient in French Boxborough, MA, United States Job Description Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is actively seeking a Lead Generation Specialist / Sales Representative to join our Business Assurance team in Boxborough, Massachusetts . The Sales Representative is responsible for performing cold calls to prospect on training services. Shift/Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Salary & Benefits: The base wage for this position is $45,000.00, with individual compensation packages based on experience, qualifications and other job-related factors. What you’ll do: Sells company training services in assigned area or territory. Speaks directly with new and existing customers to explain features and merits of training services. Answers all questions concerning the training service, making appropriate referrals when required. Calls prospective customers to explain the type of service offered. Quotes prices and attempts to persuade customers to buy, using prepared sales talk. Refers orders of system certification services to other workers for fulfillment. Records names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects solicited. May prepare reports on sales activities. May develop lists of prospects from city and telephone directories. Closes transactions and takes orders. Submits time and expense reports to management. Creates proposals for training services. Perform other duties as required. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: High school diploma required. No experience required; success depends more on sales ability. Awareness of and ability to discuss non‑technical training structure and content. Must be self‑motivated with excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Must manage effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment with shifting priorities. Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and Operations leadership. Must consider financial targets in work. High degree of personal integrity and teamwork. Excellent verbal and written communication, including active listening. Promotes effective working relationships at all levels and creates a positive environment. Models Intertek’s 10X Energies and practices business the right way. Adheres to safety practices and policies to ensure personal and workplace safety. Detail‑oriented with efficient time management. Microsoft knowledge required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Possesses fundamental technical and administrative skills required for the job. Customer‑focused and quality driven. Preferred Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred. Knowledge and use of internal processes and software (e.g., CRM, web‑based tools). Will be formalized during competency assessment.
