IT Support Analyst

*Job Summary*
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join a collaborative IT support team responsible for delivering exceptional technical assistance to internal employees. This role will provide a combination of phone, remote, and hands-on support while managing incidents and service requests through a ticketing system. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience supporting Windows environments and common enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
* Provide Tier I technical support to internal end users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and access-related issues in a timely manner.
* Manage and update support tickets through the organization's ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution.
* Support Windows 10/11 operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and other business-critical software.
* Perform password resets, account unlocks, and basic Active Directory administration tasks.
* Escalate complex technical issues to Tier II support teams when necessary.
* Image, configure, deploy, and replace Dell laptops and desktop computers.
* Install, upgrade, and maintain hardware peripherals including monitors, printers, docking stations, and other devices.
* Assist with workstation setups, moves, adds, and changes.
* Maintain a high level of customer service while supporting employees across the organization.
* Contribute to knowledge base documentation and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
* 1+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or technical support.
* Experience troubleshooting Windows 10/11 operating systems.
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience supporting hardware, software, and user account issues.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience using a ticketing system such as Freshdesk, ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with PC imaging and device deployment.
* Familiarity with Dell hardware environments.
* Exposure to Active Directory and user account administration.
* Experience supporting engineering or design applications such as AutoCAD.
* CompTIA A+ or other relevant IT certifications preferred.

This is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, LA.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $17.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
