Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

To support Special Operations Forces, the full-time remote Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide evidence-based behavioral health care, promote mission readiness and resilience, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the well-being of service members and their families. Key responsibilities Provide a full range of outcome-based nurse practitioner services, including diagnosis, treatment, and counseling for acute and chronic conditions Communicate mental health concepts effectively to elite operators and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to support healthcare initiatives Promote preventive care and health maintenance through education and counseling while addressing operational stressors and brain health Required qualifications Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program Current, unrestricted license as a graduate professional nurse in the U.S Board certification as a PMHNP by a recognized national nursing certification organization Minimum of five years of post-graduate experience in clinical psychiatric nursing Understanding of military culture and experience in a Department of War or Department of Veterans Affairs setting
