Exciting Opportunity for First-Time L&D RNs!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Position: Float between units as per unit needs
- On-Call Requirement: Yes, for low census only
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend
- Block Schedules: Not required


- Patient Ratios: AWHONN patient ratios
- Hospital Type: Short Term Acute Care
- Total Staff Beds: 108
- Scrub Color: Any color (Scrubs provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, PACU, and Maternal Child)
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking Cost: No fee

Unit Highlights:


- Daily Census: 3
- Number of Rooms: 10
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Adults
- Patient Population: Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum, GYN, and Nursery
- Special Equipment: Available for Level 1 Maternity Services and Level 1 Newborn care

Important Skills Required:


- AWHONN Advanced Certification
- AWHONN Intermediate Certification
- BLS
- NRP
- STABLE Certification
- Skills in Cesarean Section, Circulate for C-section, LDRP, Level I Nursery, and Triage of obstetrical patients

Compliance Details:


- Valid State License: Compact license must be in hand at submission
- Local Radius: 50 miles
- Return Staff Policy: May return after 3 months
- References Required: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
