Job Description

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance for apartment homes and community amenities, including HVAC, plumbing, appliances, electrical systems, pools, gates, and common areas.
• Complete resident service requests and work orders promptly, delivering exceptional customer service and resolving maintenance issues efficiently.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing rent-ready repairs, inspections, and general upkeep.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-functioning community grounds, amenities, maintenance facilities, and inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Accurately document service requests, maintenance activities, and status updates while supporting contractor oversight, budget goals, and company policies.
• Communicate professionally with residents, assist with community events and resident functions, and help maintain a clean, welcoming property environment.

Qualifications

Requirements

• 1-3 years of maintenance experience required; apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills; basic budgeting or financial knowledge is a plus.
• EPA Type II or Universal Refrigeration Certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, testing equipment, ladders, and material-handling equipment, including hand trucks.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, moving equipment and appliances exceeding 300 pounds with assistance/equipment, climbing ladders up to 40 feet, and frequently bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, and pulling while completing maintenance tasks.

• Expected hourly rate of $24.00-26.00 per hour . You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job
