Work Location Brooklyn, New York, United States of America Hours 40 Pay Details $66,560 - $99,320 USD Job Description The FAA will meet with prospects and clients to analyze their financial information, including income, cash flow, assets, and liabilities, and understand their short- and long-term financial goals. The FAA will educate and advise prospects and clients regarding investment and insurance strategies and products, and recommend personalized/tailored approaches to meet their financial and wealth creation objectives. The FAA is responsible for all aspects of developing and maintaining client relationships by providing ongoing consultation, advice, planning, and day-to-day account servicing. The FAA will build a client base by acquisition of new clients on an ongoing basis, and retain and grow the client base through relationship management, ongoing communication, and consultation. The FAA will rely on relationship building skills and the ability to influence in order to develop their client base and meet assigned goals. The FAA will educate and coach Retail Store staff to identify referral prospects, identify enterprise opportunities, and engage key partners across the organization as appropriate or necessary. The FAA will ensure that all new clients receive the complete onboarding experience, including a thorough client discovery, a financial needs analysis, acquisition of all requisite onboarding documents, and coaching and wealth referral training for staff. The FAA will implement a process to ensure every client receives periodic ongoing contacts and an Annual Client Review (ACR) meeting with an enhanced agenda focused on the client’s overall wealth and financial planning needs. The FAA will deepen wallet share by anticipating client needs and suggesting the most appropriate wealth solutions, identify opportunities within the portfolio and network to refer business to Retail and Small Business/Commercial Partners. The FAA will execute all activities in a manner that is compliant with regulations, policies, and procedures, and will adhere to all federal, state, SRO regulations and firm policies related to all business activities (e.g., OCC, SEC, State Insurance Commissioners, NY Department of Financial Services, etc.). The FAA will ensure compliance with TD Bank & TD Wealth policies, the Customer Identification Program (CIP), and AML procedures; develop understanding of client assets and transition higher‑threshold clients to appropriate HNW Wealth partners as needed. The FAA will foster a positive and constructive work environment, collaborate with team members and mentor new FAAs, represent TD Wealth professionally, and demonstrate community involvement and support for TD Bank charity and community initiatives. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. 1+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry, or completion of the FAA Trainee program. Licensing and Registration Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) & Series7 required. Louisiana & Hawaii (L&H) and Series66 (or equivalent) required, or the ability to obtain all within the Licensing and Registration Schedule. Key Skills and Competencies Self‑directed with strong ability to plan own activities to achieve sales and referral goals. Comprehensive understanding of wealth products and services. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to travel within assigned market to meet prospects, clients, and partners five days a week. Understanding of wealth‑management business development techniques and experience interacting with retail and small business banking clients. Consultative sales experience required. Ability to establish relationships and partner effectively with other departments.
