Art Director

The Role We are hiring an Art Director to lead and produce visual creative across the Miraclesuit brand family. This is a true hands-on-keyboard role: you will design the majority of what our customers see every day, and you will help direct the photography that fuels it. You set the creative standard and you execute it. You will partner directly with the VP of Marketing and the Brand President, and work cross-functionally with ecommerce, retention, and brand marketing teams. What You'll Own Daily design execution Email design. All campaign and flow emails across the brand family. You design them, start to finish. Paid social creative. Concept, design, and iterate ads in partnership with our performance marketing team. You care about what converts, not just what looks good. Landing pages and site creative. Homepage, PLP, and campaign landing page design. Organic social content. Design and adapt content for our social channels. Creative direction and production AI photography. Execute and direct AI-generated imagery as a growing part of our creative pipeline. You treat AI as a production tool with the same standards as a physical shoot. Photo and video shoots. Assist with and build concepts for lifestyle, ecomm, ghosted, editorial, and mini social shoots from brief through final asset delivery as needed. Talent selection. Work with the team and brand president to select models, photographers, hair and makeup, and other production talent as needed. Brand consistency. Miraclesuit's confident, solution-driven positioning anchors the house; each sub-label speaks to a distinct customer. You keep them differentiated without fragmenting the brand. Creative operations Work within our digital asset management system (Air) Own creative timelines, and freelance relationships Deliver on-spec creative for wholesale and marketplace partners (Nordstrom, Amazon, and others) Who You Are 5+ years in design or art direction roles, with at least 3 years in fashion, swim, beauty, or apparel DTC ecommerce experience required; you understand how creative drives revenue on Shopify-based brands Fast, high-volume production designer: email, paid social, and landing pages are your daily bread, not occasional projects Proven shoot leadership: you have directed productions from brief to final asset Hands-on with AI image generation tools and eager to push what they can do for brand photography Strong portfolio spanning campaign, ecomm, and performance creative Fluent in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; comfortable with DAM systems Able to travel to NYC for shoots as needed; remote candidates must be reliably available on-site for productions Self-directed and decisive. You can run creative for weeks without daily oversight and know when to escape Collaborative but opinionated.
