Sales Manager :  Monticello, WI

Our client is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Sales Manager to lead sales strategy, strengthen key customer partnerships, and drive continued revenue growth for an established organization within the food manufacturing industry. This highly visible role combines business development, strategic account management, pricing and profitability, and team leadership.

Key  Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

• Manage and grow existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities. 
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, plant tours, and business reviews while representing the organization at industry events. 
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to uncover opportunities for growth. 

Account Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts and develop long-term strategic partnerships. 
• Coordinate customer needs across internal departments and ensure timely resolution of issues. 
• Develop annual business reviews and strategic plans for key customers. 

Strategic Planning, Pricing & Profitability

• Develop sales forecasts and business plans while monitoring performance and identifying growth opportunities. 
• Manage customer pricing and partner with Accounting and Operations to evaluate profitability and customer-specific margins. 
• Lead pricing initiatives, negotiations, and margin improvement efforts to support revenue growth and profitability. 

Product Development & Project Management

• Partner with Product Development, Operations, and Quality to support new product opportunities. 
• Provide customer and market insights to help guide product innovation. 
• Coordinate customer-driven projects and facilitate communication between customers and internal teams. 

Leadership & Department Development

• Provide direct leadership and support to Customer Service and Sales Support. 
• Help develop sales processes, performance metrics, and reporting tools. 
• Support future recruiting, onboarding, training, and development as the sales function grows.

Skills & Experience :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Experience : 5+ years of B2B experience,  required ;  within a food manufacturing or packaged goods industry, strongly preferred
• Knowledge:  Strong negotiation & presentation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously ,  required
• Software:  Proficiency utilizing CRM, ERP, & Microsoft Office Suite,   required

Pay: $100,000 - $130,000/year + bonus incentives

Type: Full-time, 1st Shift, On-site (negotiable)

Schedule: Monday – Friday normal business hours
