Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a busy cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will have prior cardiology experience and a strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

This is an on-site position offering a collaborative work environment, competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and light call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with suspected or established cardiovascular conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and follow-up evaluations.
• Order, review, and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and studies.
• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with a cardiologist.
• Manage routine and complex cardiology follow-up visits.
• Monitor and manage chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular health, risk factors, medications, and lifestyle modifications.

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM
• Flexible scheduling may be available depending on the candidate's availability and practice needs.

Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license eligible to practice in Arizona.
• Prior cardiology experience is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
