Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer position located in Waterloo, Iowa. This role requires candidates to possess a minimum of 24 months of experience in sonography, specifically in general, abdomen, non-high-risk obstetrics/gynecology, and vascular imaging. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of work. The position involves call coverage on weekdays from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with additional weekend call coverage as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Call coverage Monday through Friday from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM; Weekend call coverage as needed from 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM, with minimum of 37.5 hours per week and 7.5 hours per shift.
• Required Qualifications: Valid driver's license, ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification, active American Heart Association (AHA) or ARC (American Red Cross) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and proficiency/experience in EPIC electronic medical record system. A minimum of 24 months of current sonographer and/or vascular experience, with expertise in abdominal, OB/GYN (non-high risk), and vascular imaging.
• Preferred Qualifications: Professional references from supervisors or managers within 24 months, and highly preferred ARDMS (RVT), ARDMS (OB/GYN), and experience with specific modalities such as liver vessel evaluation, pelvis, OB first trimester, testicle/scrotum, DVT of arms and legs, ABIs, carotids, aortas, thyroids, and limited second/third-trimester OB examinations (BPP, fluid checks, measurements).
• Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with procedures such as fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis, though not required. The role involves working with general, OB/GYN, and vascular patients, performing various Doppler and ultrasound exams as specified.
