Security Officer Position

United Security Services, Inc., a national security company, is seeking professional security officers for an upscale hotel in Renton, Washington.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in security standard operating procedures and safety protocols under the role's responsibility and will be results-driven and focused. We are currently hiring for Flex Officers, as well as weekend (Friday-Sunday) part time roles - this may vary based on operational need.

Security Guard Requirements:

• 2 years of certified security experience.
• Must have an unarmed security license with the State of Washington (DOL)
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills.
• Flexible availability Friday – Sunday for PT position, or overall flexible availability for Flex Officer role.
• Able to stand for at least 8 hours.
• Capable of lifting and carrying reasonable weight.
• Preferred to have experience in hospitality (hotels) or relevant customer service.

Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Patrol all areas of the buildings (door checks/stairwells) and exterior (parking garages/building perimeters).
• Check in guests.
• Respond to incidents on-site, including moving along/trespassing transients.
• Respond to emergencies and alarms.
• Other job responsibilities as needed.

$23.75 per hour.

Target start date: Immediately.

Part time position- Shifts are available either Friday and Saturday 6PM-2:30AM, or Saturday and Sunday, 2PM-10:30PM for the part time role. (16 hours/week) For the flex/floater role, hours will vary based on operational need.
