Job Title: Medical Records Specialist Location: New York 10029 Duration: 02+ months Job Description: Manage and maintain electronic and paper medical records in accordance with HIM policies. Process requests for medical records, including release of information (ROI) requests. Review records for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation. Scan, index, organize, and file medical records into the EMR/EHR system. Verify patient information and ensure accurate record matching and identification. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable privacy regulations. Track and document ROI requests and maintain accurate record logs.
