ASL-Fluent Paraprofessional – 2026–2027 School Year

Location: Federal Way, WA
Schedule : School-Based
School Year: 2026–2027
Pay: $25–$30/hour (based on experience)

About the Opportunity

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated ASL-Fluent Paraprofessional to support students in a school-based setting in Federal Way, Washington for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and comfortable providing individualized academic, communication, and classroom support to students.

Responsibilities
Provide direct support to students throughout the school day.
Use American Sign Language to effectively communicate with and support students.
Assist students with academic, social, behavioral, and communication needs.
Support teachers with classroom activities and individualized student accommodations.
Assist with student transitions and daily routines.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.
Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) required.
Previous experience working with children or students preferred.
Previous school-based or special education experience is a plus.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to meet all district and state hiring requirements.
