Position Details

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

• Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital

• Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center

• Charting System: Epic EMR

• Floating: Yes, between units

• On-Call: Not required

• Weekends: Some weekend shifts required

• 48-Hour Workweeks: Approved

Patient Ratios

• Labor: 1:2

• Antepartum (AP): 1:3

Required Clinical Experience

Candidates should have acute-care Labor & Delivery experience, including:

• High-risk labor and delivery nursing care.

• Antepartum patient monitoring and management.

• Care for patients with preeclampsia and diabetes during pregnancy.

• Management of multiple gestations.

• Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) and Trial of Labor After Cesarean (TOLAC).

• Active management and monitoring of laboring patients.

• Labor induction and augmentation.

• Recognition and management of maternal emergencies.
