We provide P&MA insights and recommendations across all stages of the product lifecycle, from early pipeline agents to launch preparation to loss of exclusivity.

Role Overview

Engagement Managers oversee the daily direction of client projects, ensuring the work is on track, delivering clear value, and adhering to budgets and timelines. In addition, they demonstrate subject matter expertise on commercial strategies and global healthcare systems. Engagement Managers contribute to firm-building opportunities, including thought leadership, recruitment, training and mentoring. Senior Engagement Managers participate in identifying, developing and extending client relationships in preparation for the Principal role.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement, Strategic Advisory & Delivery Excellence

• Serve as a strategic advisor to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients in the US and Europe.
• Lead large, complex client engagements from problem definition through executive recommendation including:
• Global launch pricing strategy and related deliverables including launch sequencing optimization, global pricing policies, pricing governance, etc.
• Global pricing and market access assessments for pipeline assets to inform clinical trial decisions and evidence development plans
• Early market access landscape and competitive assessments
• Payer value proposition development and message testing
• Negotiation strategy & training / launch readiness workshops
• Global pricing and market access assessments to support business development, due diligence & forecasting
• Indication expansion and lifecycle optimization
• In-line pricing & market access assessments
• Competitive defense and loss-of-exclusivity strategy development
• Affordability solutions, managed entry agreements and other contracting opportunities
• Ensure analytical rigor, strategic clarity, and high-quality deliverables.
• Ensure recommendations are strategically rigorous, commercially grounded, and actionable.
• Build long-term trusted advisor relationships with client leadership teams.

Relationship Development & Business Growth

• Develop and extend existing client relationships across key accounts.
• Cultivate new client relationships and growth opportunities.
• Contribute to proposal development, client pitches, and commercial discussions.
• Mentor and develop consultants through active coaching and apprenticeship-style leadership.
• Provide structured feedback and performance development support.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture grounded in strategic thinking and client impact.
