Microbiologist

Title: Microbiologist Location: Temecula, California (100% Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Shift Time: 8am to 5pm Pay Range: $27/hr to $29/hr (On W2) We are looking for a “Microbiologist“ to join one of our Fortune 500 clients. Job Responsibilities Conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests and makes qualitative analysis of materials, liquids, and gases. May also set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for the tests, research or process control. Conduct sterilization qualification for new products and/or changes to existing products. Performs sterilization validation for radiation sterilized products including dose setting and quarterly dose audits. Performs sterilization validation for ethylene oxide sterilized products including new product qualification, annual revalidations, residual EO studies, and D-value studies. Conducts dose audit failure investigations. Conducts Ethylene Oxide Biological indicator sterility positive investigation. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Education Must possess diploma or degree at the Associate or Bachelor level and 1+ years experience. 0-2 years of related work experience with a basic understanding of specified functional area. Basic technical knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures. Limited understanding of business unit/group function. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations. Learns to use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve routine problems.
