IT Specialist

Boise Centre, Idaho's largest convention and event venue, is seeking an IT Specialist to support our dynamic hospitality and events environment. This role maintains reliable computers, networks, printers, and AV systems used for conferences, trade shows, and banquets. Responsibilities include responding to help desk requests, configuring hardware and software, managing user accounts, supporting Wi Fi and event technology, and ensuring data security. You'll collaborate closely with operations, catering, and event teams to deliver seamless guest experiences and high-profile regional and national events in downtown Boise.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for staff, clients, and event operations
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and peripherals
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and Microsoft 365 tools
• Monitor and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks for office and event spaces
• Support AV, conferencing, and event technology for meetings and conventions
• Manage help desk tickets, documentation, and issue resolution
• Ensure data security and apply basic cybersecurity best practices
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, and network services
• Assist with IT setup, teardown, and on-site support for events
• Train users on systems, tools, and IT best practices
