Enterprise Asset Management & Data Quality SME About the Role: Assurit is seeking an Enterprise Asset Management & Data Quality SME to support a Department of the Air Force (DAF) Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) Data Quality initiative. This position provides specialized expertise in Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSR) and related enterprise systems to improve data quality, validate asset lifecycle transactions, strengthen reconciliation processes, and support audit readiness. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in enterprise asset management systems, data quality, reconciliation, financial management interfaces, and requirements development. This individual will analyze complex asset data, identify root causes of data quality issues, recommend remediation strategies, and support testing, governance, and executive decision-making across enterprise systems. Responsibilities: Validate APSR data structures against documented business processes. Confirm asset ownership, authoritative data sources, and system-of-record responsibilities. Analyze asset lifecycle transactions, valuation logic, identifiers, and cross-system relationships. Identify data quality defects, reconciliation issues, systemic causes, and control gaps. Evaluate remediation options, implementation risks, sequencing, and operational impacts. Develop functional requirements for data correction, system enhancements, interfaces, and process improvements. Support reconciliation activities, testing, production readiness reviews, and validation efforts. Analyze APSR configurations, data models, business rules, hierarchies, and system relationships. Validate asset lifecycle events including acquisition, receipt, transfer, maintenance, retirement, disposal, and adjustments. Assess valuation methodologies, depreciation logic, capitalization, useful life, residual values, and financial reporting impacts. Validate asset identifiers and cross-system relationships across financial, procurement, logistics, and maintenance systems. Support interface validation, source-to-target mappings, reconciliation activities, and production readiness. Facilitate workshops with technical, functional, audit, and business stakeholders. Prepare executive-level recommendations, issue summaries, risk assessments, and decision support materials. Maintain issue logs, risk registers, assumptions, dependencies, and governance documentation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience supporting enterprise asset management systems, accountable property systems, financial management systems, enterprise data quality, reconciliation, or related initiatives. Demonstrated experience with Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSR) or similar enterprise asset management platforms. Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, valuation methodologies, property accountability, and financial management interfaces. Experience performing enterprise data analysis, reconciliation, root cause analysis, and remediation planning. Experience developing business rules, functional requirements, reconciliation requirements, data mappings, user stories, and test scenarios. Experience analyzing data models, entity relationships, identifiers, reference data, and enterprise data structures. Strong understanding of governance, audit trails, segregation of duties, approval workflows, change management, and evidence requirements. Ability to communicate complex technical and operational concepts to executive leadership. Strong analytical, documentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of the Air Force (DAF) environments. Experience supporting FIAR, audit readiness, audit remediation, or enterprise data quality initiatives. Experience with government property accountability systems and financial management interfaces. Experience supporting enterprise data conversion, migration, reconciliation, or system modernization efforts. Experience developing executive-level briefings, decision papers, and governance documentation. Experience supporting enterprise testing, production readiness, and data validation activities. Familiarity with RMF, records management, interface monitoring, or enterprise data governance. Experience coordinating across technical, financial, logistics, audit, and operational stakeholders.
