As a Direct Support Professional, you'll help individuals live safely and independently in their homes and stay engaged in their communities.This role is ideal for someone who is patient, responsible, and takes pride in making a real difference in someone's daily life.What You'll DoAssist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparationSupport mobility needs (including wheelchair transfers when needed)Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community activitiesHelp maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environmentOffer reminders for medications and daily routines (per care plan)Observe and report any changes in health or well-beingCommunicate updates with families and care teamsFollow each client's Individual Support Plan (ISP)What We ExpectReliability is critical-clients depend on you.Advance notice (minimum two weeks) is required for time offWillingness to learn, ask questions, and follow care plans carefullyProfessional, respectful communication with clients and familiesA strong sense of responsibility and integrityWhat Makes You a Great FitNaturally compassionate and patientStrong work ethic and positive attitudeAble to build trust and rapport with clientsComfortable providing hands-on personal careOpen to feedback, training, and growthQualificationsAt least 3 months of hands-on caregiving or related experienceExperience in personal care, healthcare, or a similar field preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)Ability to pass required background checksWhy Join Source of Hope?We invest in you.
