Job Title: Packaging Technician - II

Location: La Verne, CA, 91750

Duration: 06+ Month Contract

Pay Rate: $26.90/hr. on W2

Work Schedule: 2 nd Shift (Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Position overview:

We are seeking a Packaging Technician II to support pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations. This position is responsible for operating packaging equipment, inspecting finished products, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining GMP compliance, and supporting packaging activities in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pharmaceutical packaging equipment and production lines.
• Set up and operate vial labeling, laser labeling, and carton labeling equipment.
• Package commercial and clinical trial products.
• Perform visual inspection of products and packaging components.
• Complete line setup and check-weighing activities.
• Execute ERP/MES transactions.
• Follow SOPs, Master Batch Records, and cGMP requirements.
• Clean packaging rooms and production equipment.
• Report deviations or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate production documentation.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or packaging experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience following SOPs and GMP documentation.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical packaging experience.
• Experience operating automated packaging equipment.
• ERP or MES experience.
• Experience with labeling systems and packaging inspections.
• Previous cleanroom or cGMP manufacturing experience.
