**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Diagnostic Mammography / Radiology Technologist!** **Job Description** - Are you passionate about patient care and expert imaging? We are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Mammography / Radiology Technologist to enhance our Diagnostic Imaging team! - Your main role will be to deliver high-quality breast imaging while providing compassionate, patient-centered care across all age groups. - Collaborate closely with radiologists and other imaging professionals to: - Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures following established protocols. - Ensure proper positioning and image quality while adhering to ALARA radiation safety principles. - Key Responsibilities Include: - Review physician orders and coordinate imaging exams with radiologists and other imaging modalities. - Track and retrieve prior mammography images for effective comparison and interpretation. - Educate patients on breast health and self-examination techniques. - Serve as a technical resource for breast imaging, quality control, and equipment operation. - Advocate for patients by coordinating care to minimize inconvenience and delays. - Participate in departmental committees and assist with outreach initiatives to promote mammography services. - Support Bone Density exams, and assist with CT, General X-Ray, and Fluoroscopy/OR procedures as needed. - Take call as assigned and perform other additional duties as required. - **Required Qualifications**: - ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography. - Active California Radiologic Technologist License. - Active California Mammographic Technologist License. - Active California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License. - American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification. - California Venipuncture Certificate (required within 3 months of hire). - Minimum of 5 years of mammography technologist experience. - **Physical & Work Requirements**: - Ability to stand and walk 4–6 hours per day. - Ability to bend, reach, crouch, balance, and push equipment as needed. - Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. - Exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, and chemical agents. - Provide care to patients across the lifespan. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
