Dietary Manager (CDM)

Dietary Manager (CDM) – Skilled Nursing Facility Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our residents! We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dietary Manager to lead our Dietary Department and ensure our residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment. The Dietary Manager is responsible for overseeing daily dietary operations, managing the dietary team, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and ensuring excellent food quality and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Dietary Department, including meal preparation, service, sanitation, and staffing Lead, train, schedule, and support dietary team members Ensure meals are prepared and served according to physician orders, resident preferences, and therapeutic diet requirements Maintain compliance with CMS, state regulations, food safety standards, and infection control guidelines Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control, and resident satisfaction Manage dietary supplies, inventory, ordering, and cost controls Collaborate with Nursing, Administration, and the Registered Dietitian to support resident care plans Complete required dietary documentation, audits, and quality assurance activities Assist with survey preparation and maintain department readiness Qualifications Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred Previous Dietary Manager, Dietary Director, or Food Service leadership experience preferred Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, healthcare, or senior living environment preferred Knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to lead a team and create a positive dining experience for residents Why Join Us?
