Provider Contract Manager Full Time Management Parsippany, NJ, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1042 Salary: $60,000.00 Annually Position Summary This position manages provider contract activities, supports negotiations and contract implementation, and conducts provider recruitment to ensure adequate network access, quality, and geographic coverage. Key Responsibilities Manage the provider contract process from initial outreach through contract execution and implementation. Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, medical groups, facilities, and other healthcare providers. Recruit new providers to meet network adequacy, access, specialty, and geographic needs. Conduct provider outreach and identify opportunities to strengthen network coverage. Coordinate contract negotiations, including reimbursement rates, terms, amendments, and renewals. Review provider contracts and ensure required documentation is completed accurately and timely. Work collaboratively with other internal departments. Monitor provider participation and identify gaps or opportunities for network expansion. Maintain accurate provider and contract information in internal systems. Respond to provider questions regarding contracts, participation, reimbursement, and network requirements. Assist with provider onboarding and implementation following contract execution. Track contracting and recruitment activity, including pipeline status, executed agreements, and outstanding issues. Support provider retention and relationship-management initiatives. Ensure contracting activities comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable healthcare regulations. Prepare reports and presentations regarding network growth, contracting activity, and provider recruitment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field, preferred. 2-5+ years of experience in provider relations, managed care, healthcare contracting, network development, or provider recruitment, preferred. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills. Ability to understand and interpret healthcare contracts and reimbursement terms. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracting and recruitment projects simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and provider/network management systems. The salary range for this position is starting at $60,000 and may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market considerations. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and in alignment with applicable law.
