REPORTS TO : Director of Assessment, Insight and Analytics PAY GRADE: ADM-03 LOCATION: Education Support Services DAYS: 228 JOB ID & DATE: ADM-40 | February 2026 JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY The Manager, Data and Assessment, supports Adams 14 educators and school leaders in effectively using data to elevate student outcomes and advance the district's commitment to a culture of continuous improvement. This role focuses on analyzing and interpreting student performance data to generate actionable insights that align with Adams 14 goals and priorities and meet local, State and Federal compliance deliverables. The Manager supervises and collaborates with staff to implement evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of our students and community, and ensures that Adams 14 continues to meet local, State and Federal compliance deliverables. REQUIREMENTS Education Level Details Bachelor's degree in Education or related field from an accredited college or university Master's degree in Education, Education Leadership, or a related field (required) License / Certification Required Colorado Teaching License in the Academic Field Required Work Experience Required 5 years of K - 12 teaching experience, preferably in a core content area 2 years Building Administrative or leadership level experience preferred Other Skills and Abilities Required Knowledge of data analysis, DDI best practices Basic understanding of spreadsheets or visualization tools Basic understanding of presentation tools Strong organizational and planning skills Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, administrators, and parents Commitment to staying current with best practices in reading instruction and research Ability to exercise decision-making, strategy, work collaboration, data analysis, and report building Flexible and able to multi-task within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment FUNCTIONS, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Testing Coordination
Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Work Environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work primarily in a usual office or school environment. The position may require the employee to work some evenings and weekends. The individual must be able to work remotely in the event of a district shut-down or other situation. Mental Functions: May work prolonged or irregular hours and must be able to maintain control under stress While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, compare, analyze, coordinate, instruct, evaluate, and use interpersonal skills. Occasionally required to compile, copy, compute and negotiate.

Compensation for this position is $83,645 to $123,478 per year (2025-2026), based on verified experience and qualifications, and aligned with the Adams 14 salary schedule. This position is scheduled for 228 work days annually. Additional compensation opportunities may be available through stipends or supplemental assignments, depending on job responsibilities. Benefits include: Paid Time Off (PTO), Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, District contributions to Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with free and confidential support services, Wellness and preventive care programs. - Oversee student test administration, including organizing materials, developing testing schedules, and arranging Pre-ID answer documents for paper/pencil assessments.
- Train faculty on testing processes and ensure the security and fidelity of test administration.
- Create and execute detailed project plans to coordinate assessment administration logistics effectively.
- Proactively communicate roles, timelines, and responsibilities to leadership, faculty, and staff.
- Develop and maintain an annual testing calendar for all state-mandated and district-adopted assessments.
- Ensure the calendar is up-to-date and shared with all relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate and deliver assessment-specific communication and training for campus assessment liaisons.
- Provide ongoing technical support and training on educational software used in the assessment process.
- Direct the development and maintenance of a district-wide assessment and information plan.
- Ensure that reliable and valid assessments and educational quality indicators are developed and implemented.
- Assist in managing state and district testing programs, including training school testing coordinators and ensuring proper management of test materials.
- Monitor the security and quality of achievement data collected during assessments.
- Contribute to assessment-related initiatives and activities as assigned by the Director of Assessment, Insights, and Analytics.
- Provide expertise and recommendations to improve assessment practices and processes.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other required documents related to assessments.
- Ensure timely submission of documentation to meet district and state compliance standards.
- Adhere to all district and campus routines, policies, and regulations regarding assessment practices.
- Promote ethical and secure handling of all assessment materials and data.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools or supervisor.
- Provide training and coaching to educators on the design and integration of formative assessments aligned to Colorado Academic Standards.
- Develop and facilitate professional development modules on data-driven instruction (DDI), including exit tickets, checks for understanding, and student goal setting.
- Assist educators in selecting and implementing formative tools (e.g., rubrics, student self-assessments, digital response platforms).
- Collaborate with instructional coaches and curriculum teams to embed formative assessments within unit planning.
- Guide teachers in analyzing formative assessment data to adjust instruction in real-time.
- Support use of educational platforms (e.g., Illuminate DnA, Google Forms, Schoology) for collecting, visualizing, and responding to real-time data.
- Lead logistics and communication for state-mandated assessments (e.g., CMAS, PSAT/SAT, ACCESS for ELLs) and district-level benchmarks.
- Ensure adherence to CDE protocols for test security, accommodations, and administration procedures.
- Maintain and publish a comprehensive assessment calendar, incorporating state and district testing windows.
- Collaborate with the Director to refine the district-wide assessment and information plan.
- Train campus testing coordinators and assessment liaisons to support high-fidelity test administration.
- Monitor administration conditions and data collection to uphold reliability and validity of scores.
- Generate and disseminate district- and school-level summative data reports aligned to accountability metrics.
- Partner with principals and instructional leaders to interpret summative data for school improvement planning, UIP development, and instructional shifts.
- Compile, maintain, and submit required testing documentation to meet CDE and Adams 14 standards.
- Ensure accuracy and security of data submissions to state reporting systems.
