Cardiovascular Specialist, Health and Science Professional – Gaithersburg, MD The Cardiology (CARD) Health & Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for increasing territory sales and building relationships with assigned customers. The role involves product promotion, strategic business development, and management of territory call plans to meet Pfizer business objectives. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Drive sales in assigned territory. Engage with customers both face‑to‑face and virtually. Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans, using live/virtual engagement strategies. Build rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments, leveraging digital tools. Use internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities. Educate providers on product value proposition, using approved disease‑state information and patient resources. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives. Complete all administrative expectations on time and compliantly. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales, promotional activity, small business ownership, marketing, customer service, account management, or full‑time military experience; alternatively, an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or high‑school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience. Must live within 25 miles of the territory border. Valid U.S. driver’s license and compliant driving record; DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years disqualifies candidate. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales or related marketing experience. Track record of sales or marketing success, strong territory management, outstanding communication, teamwork, leadership, and accountability. Experience with disease states, therapeutic areas, and products relevant to the role. Knowledge of territory customers and markets. Reside within the territory boundaries. OTHER DETAILS Territory: Rockville, Germantown, Gaithersburg. Last date to apply: June 16 2026. The annual base salary ranges from $76,000 – $199,600. New hires receive a salary non‑exempt classification during initial sales training, qualifying for overtime pay. Upon training certification, the employee becomes an overtime exempt employee.
