Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative for a contract, temporary telesales opportunity supporting HR compliance products and services. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with recent quota-carrying experience, outbound call center sales experience, or business-to-business sales experience. As a Telesales Compliance Specialist, you will connect with business owners and decision-makers through high-volume warm outbound calling to identify compliance needs and present solutions such as labor law posters and HR and safety consulting services. This is a performance-focused role with structured virtual training, coaching, CRM tools, and clear daily activity goals to help you succeed. This opportunity offers a 100% remote work environment, provided laptop, supportive training, and the ability to earn performance-based monthly commission in addition to the hourly rate. Key Responsibilities Conduct high-volume warm outbound calls to customers to upgrade, cross-sell, or renew HR compliance products and services. Identify decision-makers, assess HR compliance needs, and present appropriate solutions in a consultative sales environment. Close sales in a one-call close model while meeting daily call targets, revenue goals, conversion metrics, and other KPIs. Educate prospects and customers on labor law compliance requirements, compliance risks, and available product solutions. Maintain accurate CRM records, track follow-ups, update pipeline activity, and manage opportunities through the sales cycle. Follow approved call scripts, compliance messaging, and quality standards while delivering a professional customer experience. Compensation and Benefits Pay rate: $18 per hour. Additional compensation: Performance-based monthly commission. Job type: Contract, temporary position. Assignment length: 4 months. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Training: Virtual new hire training from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM PST for 1.5 weeks. Required Qualifications and Skills Conduct outbound telesales calls to convert leads and existing customers into monthly or annual recurring subscribers. Sell HR compliance products and services through consultative, needs-based conversations. Manage CRM activity, customer records, pipeline updates, follow-ups, and sales documentation. Meet daily call volume, talk time, conversion, revenue, quota, and call quality expectations. 1 to 2 years or more of sales experience required. Recent experience carrying and successfully hitting a monthly sales quota. Outbound call center sales experience, transactional call center sales experience, or business-to-business sales experience. Experience using predictive dialer technology is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly, confidently, and persuasively. Ability to handle objections, manage rejection, and maintain a positive, resilient attitude. Strong listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and position relevant solutions. Excellent time management skills with the ability to balance high call volume, follow-ups, and CRM updates. Comfortable working in a performance-driven remote sales environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling subscription-based products or recurring services. Experience selling compliance, HR, safety, business services, or risk mitigation solutions. Familiarity with CRM systems, sales pipelines, call scripts, and call quality expectations. Previous success in a one-call close sales environment.
