Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Acton, Massachusetts, United States
Job Type: Direct Hire
A manufacturing company specializing in at-home skate sharpening machines is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to all aspects of quality and continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate quality inspection activities for mechanical and electro-mechanical products and components.
- Manage inbound and outbound RMAs, collaborating with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues.
- Investigate non-conformances, supporting corrective actions and root cause analysis.
- Work with suppliers to address incoming material and component quality concerns.
- Coordinate and maintain equipment calibration schedules, records, and documentation.
- Review drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements using GD&T.
- Maintain quality documentation, procedures, records, and other quality-related information.
- Collect and organize quality data, generating reports, charts, and metrics using Excel.
- Assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and address day-to-day quality needs across the organization.
- Collaborate with Operations and other departments to resolve product and process quality issues.
