Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Urgent Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift on weekends and holidays Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse) Certifications: American Heart Association BLS Must-Have: Experience working in the pre-hospital setting, including but not limited to ski patrol, search & rescue, or EMS. Emergency department, urgent care, or other acute care clinical experience. Outpatient or walk-in clinic experience. Computer ability and knowledge of electronic health record operating systems. Description: The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team. The nurse plans and implements patient and family education. The nurse is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate interventions for patients. Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues. Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation. Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. Implements the identified plan of care. Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice. Evaluates one's own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines. Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues. Exposures (Continuously): Bloodborne pathogens, such as blood, bodily fluids, or tissues. Clienttion in settings where medical imaging procedures are performed. Various chemicals and medications are used in healthcare settings. Job tasks may involve handling cleaning products, disinfectants, and other substances. Infectious diseases may be contracted by contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses. Emotionally challenging situations may arise, such as dealing with distressed patients or difficult family interactions.
