Location: Mid County Dental Associates 2700 East Bay Drive, Largo, FL, 33771, United States Location: Multiple locations (as assigned) Employee Type: Full Time Job Description Endodontist - Part time or Full time position available Relocation Assistance Available Purpose of the Job The Endodontist role at Todays Dental Network plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care while contributing to the clinical and operational excellence of the practice. This position involves diagnosing and treating endodontically involved dental conditions, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Endodontist also supports strategic initiatives by providing clinical insights that inform practice growth, efficiency improvements, and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient care by diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of endodontic dental conditions with a focus on quality and patient satisfaction. Evaluate clinical trends and patient demographics to identify opportunities for expanding services, improving care delivery, and optimizing practice performance. Utilize practice management systems to monitor clinical workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements that enhance operational effectiveness. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including administrative, clinical, and operational leaders—to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Provide clinical insights and recommendations to guide decisions on service offerings, technology adoption, and patient care strategies. Communicate complex clinical information clearly and effectively to both patients and non‑clinical stakeholders. Diagnose and treat diseases of the dental pulp and surrounding tissues. Perform non‑surgical root‑canal therapy and endodontic retreatment. Conduct surgical endodontic procedures, including apicoectomies. Manage dental trauma cases such as fractured or avulsed teeth. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, including CBCT imaging and dental microscopes. Effectively manage dental pain and administer local anesthesia. Collaborate with referring general dentists and specialists within the TDN network. Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and post‑operative care. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records. Follow all clinical, safety, and infection control protocols. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities. Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school. Completion of an accredited Endodontic Residency Program. Active dental license in the practicing state(s). Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Endodontics (preferred). Experience with modern endodontic techniques and technologies. Strong diagnostic and clinical skills. Excellent hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail. Compassionate and patient‑focused chairside manner. Ability to manage anxious or pain‑sensitive patients.
