Enrich and support the lives of our residents whilemaintaininga safe and healthy environment Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care. Assistwith activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating. Prepare meals and snacks. Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties. Provide mobility and transferassistance, which mayinclude usingmechanical lift devices. Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviours when needed. Qualifications What Makes You a Great Fit Previousexperience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilitiespreferred Must be at least 18 years old Able to attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training Have a passion to help others through person-centered care Dependable, adaptable, and flexible Goodcommunication is key in this role.You’llrely on your reading, writing, andcommunication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
