Data Entry Specialist

Job Title

This role is heavily focused on data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling high volumes of data, and ensuring information is entered accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process a high volume of vendor invoices into the accounting system.
• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness before data entry.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical records.
• Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Update vendor information and maintain accurate account records.
• Support the Accounts Payable team with administrative tasks and reporting.
• Work within multiple software systems to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Essential Skills

• Experience in Data Entry
• Proficiency in using a 10-key calculator.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred but not required.
• 13 years of data entry (accounts payable experience NOT required)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
