Hospital Pharmacist, Emergency Medicine - 7 on/7 off

OVERVIEWProvides expert pharmacy support within the emergency medicine setting, serving as a trusted clinical resource for healthcare teams and delivering professional, patient-focused care. Maintains current clinical knowledge through continuing education, professional literature review, and ongoing self-evaluation to support safe and effective medication management.Schedule: 7 On / 7 OffShift: 11:00 AM-9:30 PMESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
* Maintains professionalism and conducts self as a role model, serving as a resource for all health system partners.
* Is an expert staff pharmacist who relies on skills of comprehensive knowledge and experience.
* Maintains practice by ongoing professional literature review, continuing education and self-evaluation.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEGraduate of an accredited Pharmacy ProgramHospital Pharmacy experience or residency preferredCERTIFICATION/LICENSUREWisconsin/Illinois Registered Pharmacist License or eligibleOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESExcellent interpretive/analytical skills for pharmaceutical applicationsStrong accuracy skillsComputer experienceLEVEL OF SUPERVISIONWork requires a moderate level of independent judgment along with good interpretative and interpersonal skills with justification and accountability to Supervisor, Manager, and Director.SUPERVISESThis position supervises technicians. This position is involved in the recruitment and orientation process and provides performance feedback and input for performance evaluation purposes.
