Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities that include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments for couples and families, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual and group needs.

  • Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, as well as offering individual support to each partner to address unique concerns.
  • \n
  • Specializing in a variety of issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, familial conflicts, communication difficulties, and adjustment issues related to separation and divorce.
  • \n
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance family dynamics and improve mental health outcomes.
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • \n
  • Participating in continuous professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices in therapy and behavioral health.
  • \n
Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work closely with a wide demographic, including adults and children of all ages. You will engage with various patient populations, addressing challenges such as domestic conflicts, stress-related issues, and the complications of blended families. Your expertise will be integral in facilitating healthier communication patterns and conflict resolution strategies among clients.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid, active License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.
  • \n
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • \n
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • \n
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate treatment plans, progress, and outcomes clearly.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome newly licensed therapists, candidates with prior experience in a clinical setting are highly preferred. Experience in the following areas will be beneficial:

  • Working with families in crisis, particularly regarding issues such as separation, divorce, and communication breakdown.

  • Utilizing teletherapy platforms effectively and engaging in both in-person and virtual therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
