Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends and one call shift per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Dialysis to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have acute dialysis experience, including Intermittent Hemodialysis (IHD), Peritoneal Dialysis (PD), and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for individuals undergoing dialysis treatment.
• Monitor patient vitals and assess their condition throughout the treatment process.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License.
• Experience in Acute Dialysis (IHD, PD, CRRT) is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
