Engineering Aide

Support a fast-paced engineering team by managing project data, documentation, procurement activities, and administrative tasks that keep engineering programs moving forward. This role is ideal for someone with strong Excel and organizational skills who enjoys working with technical teams and contributing to aerospace and defense projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain project, resource, and manpower tracking spreadsheets.
• Support procurement, purchasing, and material coordination activities.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and engineering documentation.
• Manage document control, drawing releases, and reporting tasks.
• Collect, organize, and analyze engineering data using Excel and other tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to track actions and support project execution.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, including pivot tables and reporting.
• Experience with project coordination, planning, procurement, or engineering support functions.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with document control, SharePoint, Confluence, CAD/PDM systems, or technical documentation is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
