What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including offices common areas entry points parking areas and perimeter locations helping to identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials when required and help to deter unauthorized entry in support of location protocols.
• Support security-related operations within a technology-focused location by observing equipment areas reporting facility issues and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
