Caviar & Bananas, a high-volume gourmet market and café, is seeking energetic and creative cooks at our location on Ashley Ave. Caviar & Bananas is different from a traditional restaurant setting. With several different areas in our food offerings, cooks have a chance to work with charcuterie, cheeses, salads, prepared dishes, and catering. No day is ever the same as the one before!

We close daily at 3:00. We ARE NOT open on the weekends , which means no more working until midnight. We have a phenomenal team, and all enjoy working together. We have a high-end gourmet product offering that you will be proud to put your name on! We are a ‘scratch kitchen’ making everything fresh on-site.

A lead line cook's responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

• Supporting the Executive Chef in leading a team of culinary professionals who deliver high-quality, great-tasting food.
• Enforcing proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Performing both opening and closing duties, assisting with inventory, and learning all kitchen stations as well as prep.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a back-of-house managerial role.
• Must have great knife skills and the ability to multitask.
• Must be able to handle interaction w/ high volumes of customers, sandwich/salad prep, portioning meats/cheeses, and made-to-order foods.
