We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Plattenville, Louisiana. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a range of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. You will help patients regain independence, improve their functional abilities, and support their overall recovery through targeted, personalized therapy plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
• Develop personalized therapy plans to help patients achieve their goals and regain independence in daily activities
• Implement therapy interventions to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal results
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver holistic, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Louisiana
• In-depth knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and treatment interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a patient care environment
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Flexibility to work with a variety of patients across different age groups and conditions
