Job Description Job Description In-Home Caregiver / Home HealthAide with Interim Healthcare of Scranton, PA in Lackawanna County (Scranton, Clarks Summit, Jermyn, Scott Twp, etc.) What to expect as an In-Home Caregiver / Home Health Aide: Up to $18 per hour 1:1 Aide-to-client ratios Variety of hours offered weekdays and weekends; 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift Health Insurance (maintain 30 hours per week), Weekly Pay, Direct Deposit, Referral Bonuses, a local team for continuous support Build your skills with online training and earn CEUs What you will do as an In-Home Caregiver / Home Health Aide: Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies Requirements for the In-Home Caregiver / Home Health Aide: High school diploma (or equivalent) Six (6) months of personal care experience in a similar role CPR certification Valid PA driver’s license and transportation Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
