Alba Los Angeles is seeking reliable and hardworking Dishwashers to join our team! Located in West Hollywood, Alba LA aspires to be one of the city’s best Italian restaurants. Hourly pay is based on prior experience, aspirations, and workload. Key Responsibilities:Cleaning and Sanitation
- Dishwashing : Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment to meet company and Department of Health standards.
- Dish Room Maintenance : Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and the entire kitchen.
- Chemical and Equipment Use : Operate dishwashing machines properly and safely, with a strong understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
- Garbage and Linens : Properly store and dispose of garbage and handle soiled linens efficiently.
- Venue Cleaning : Assist in maintaining cleanliness both inside and outside the restaurant.
- Opening and Closing Duties : Set up the dish room and complete all opening and closing procedures as directed by management.
- Communication : Notify chefs and support staff of any product or equipment needs promptly.
- Team Contribution : Actively support co-workers and contribute to a positive, professional kitchen environment.
- Compliance with Regulations : Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including Department of Health and OSHA standards.
- Company Standards : Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the company handbook and maintain compliance with training requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Role may involve repetitive motions and exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
Skills/Experience:
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred.
- Current Food Handler Certification required.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
