Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The healthcare provider is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Gallatin, TN. This position involves providing direct patient care on a Medical Surgical floor within a 167-bed facility that is fully accredited and designated as a Level III Trauma Center. Job Details Position Description: Responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care in a Medical Surgical unit. The minimum qualifications include certification as an RN in Tennessee, ACLS, BLS, NIH, and at least 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting. Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current RN licensure in Tennessee, ACLS, BLS, NIH, and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg. Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: May float to other Medical Surgical units as needed. The unit primarily cares for adult and geriatric patient populations, with typical patient ratios of 6:1. All clinical staff must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry checks prior to start date.
