Senior HVAC Service Technician
Tropic-Kool Mechanical Services is looking for a highly qualified Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our growing Tampa, FL Service Team!

Primary Responsibilities:
- Must be proficient with complicated DOA systems.
- Chilled water experience preferred.
- Maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
- Assisting with customers' queries.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing complex HVAC equipment in a commercial/industrial setting (Chillers, VRV's, Controls, Refrigeration, etc.).
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
- Universal Refrigerant Certification.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Clean and valid driving license and record required.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
