Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Postpartum (PP) on a dedicated Mother/Baby unit. This position is located in a healthcare facility where the RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive postpartum assessments and care for new mothers following vaginal or C-section deliveries, as well as frequent assessments of infants including weights and bilirubin monitoring. The shift is scheduled for 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with every other weekend required.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 pm 7:30 am, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, two or more years of experience in postpartum or maternal-newborn nursing, current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with lactation consults or breastfeeding support, familiarity with post-partum assessment protocols, and neonatal monitoring skills
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: No block scheduling will be approved. The organization seeks candidates who can reliably complete post-partum assessments and care for mothers and infants. Experience in lactation support is considered a plus. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/05/2026, with a planned end date of 01/16/2027.
