Certified Surgical Technologist

CST Position Available

Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL is looking for a CST for a full-time position. The shift is an 8-hour evening shift from 14:30 to 23:00, with rotating evening, weekend, and holiday on-call requirements.

Weekend call for CSTs tends to be two weekend shifts every six-week schedule period. A call shift is either 12 or 16 hours in length. Pay ranges from $24.06 to $36.09, with additional differentials for PM, NOC, and weekend shifts. A bonus of $10,000+ is available for those with 2+ years of prior CST experience.

On-call requirements include 5-6 shifts per six-week schedule, with a requirement to be within 30 minutes from the facility. There is no travel requirement between locations. General duties include scrubbing for various surgical cases such as General, Ortho, Robotic, GYN, Urology, ENT, Podiatry, Neuro, Eye, Dental, Reconstructive plastics, and Surgical Oncology. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. CST Certification, at least 1+ year of experience, and NSTA current or 18 months of hire are required. Skills in Gyne, Ortho, etc, and CPR from AHA are preferred.
