Software Engineer, New Products

Responsibilities

• Build and launch new technology products that improve personal injury workflows.
• Build foundational software and contribute to the team’s engineering culture.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain core software products and production infrastructure.
• Own projects from conception through completion and drive them across the finish line.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, data engineering, DevOps, and other teams.
• Mentor teammates and help raise engineering standards across the organization.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in backend or frontend engineering, including work with relational or other database technologies.
• Several years of industry experience building high-quality software and shipping production-ready code and infrastructure.
• Experience building software at scale and contributing to strong engineering practices and team culture.
• Demonstrated success owning projects end to end.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas and issues clearly and actionably.
• Demonstrated success mentoring and upleveling teammates.
• Kubernetes experience is a plus.
