Pay Plan Title: Compliance Specialist II Working Title: Compliance Specialist II FLSA Status: Exempt Posting Salary Range: $56,270 - $69,898 Office Location: Remote within North Carolina. - Process assigned compliance cases from intake through resolution.
- Conduct compliance audits and monitoring activities for internal stakeholders, providers, and vendors.
- Investigate allegations of non-compliance.
- Evaluate case findings and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Typical working hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; flexible work schedules with some roles with management approval.

- High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of experience with mental health, substance use, developmental disabilities, and/or co-occurring disorders populations or field; OR
- Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience with mental health, substance use, developmental disabilities, and/or co-occurring disorders populations or field; OR
- Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience with mental health, substance use, developmental disabilities, and/or co-occurring disorders populations or field; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must reside within North Carolina.
- Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
- Experience in any of the following areas would be valuable for this employee: Public speaking, mediation and/or problem resolution, group facilitation, advocacy, regulations compliance, and project management.
- CHC, AFHI, CFE, and fully licensed in the State of NC - LCMHC, LMFT, LCWS, LCAS, or RN.
- Employer name, dates of service (month/year), average hours worked per week, and essential job duties
- Education details (degree type, date awarded, institution, field of study)
- Licensure/certification information, if applicable
