Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week | Every Third Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with care plans and physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver high-quality critical care
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Prior experience in an ICU or critical care nursing environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) specifically
- Familiarity with critical care protocols and advanced monitoring equipment
