Privacy Policy Job Openings X-Ray Technologist (PRN-Saturdays) Technologists - Melrose Park, Illinois Department Technologists Employment Type As needed/PRN Minimum Experience Experienced Compensation $30.00-$35.00 /hour Position Summary: Melrose Park is seeking a PRN-Saturdays X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in general radiography and preferably trained in IV placement and contrast administration. This role supports a fast-paced clinical environment and requires strong patient care, communication, and technical imaging skills. Location: On-site Melrose Park Position: X-ray Technologist (PRN) Days/Hours: Every Other Saturday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures Maintain proper imaging quality and follow departmental protocols Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup IV placement and contrast administration preferred (for CT/advanced imaging support) Maintain accurate patient documentation and records Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards Requirements: ARRT Registered (Radiography) or equivalent Illinois state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist Graduate from accredited radiologic technology program CPR-BLS Certification Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment Preferred Qualifications: IV placement and contrast administration (for CT/advanced imaging support), preferred (will train) Prior experience in outpatient imaging or hospital setting Core Competencies: Patient-centered service Attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent patient care and communication skills Compliance and confidentiality Dependable and flexible Benefits & Total Rewards: Paid time off Paid on-site training 401(k) with 4% company match, when eligible Competitive pay and growth opportunities Quarterly appreciation breakfast/Lunch #J-18808-Ljbffr SKAN National Radiology Services
